Project Manager - Marketing Creation
- Hybrid
- Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands
- Commercial Team
Job description
Join Fastned at the forefront of Europe’s electric vehicle and charging infrastructure revolution! As we rapidly expand our charging network across Europe, the opportunity to attract and serve more EV drivers is growing fast. To accelerate this growth, we are looking for a Project Manager - Marketing Creation to strengthen our commercial capabilities. Together with 400+ colleagues from over 45 nationalities, spread across 10 countries, we drive change in the energy transition. What sets us apart is our focus on reliability, sustainability and clean energy. We have been awarded “Best Charging Network” in the UK, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands, further establishing Fastned as a leading player in the field.
“I think this role would be perfect for someone who really likes spinning a lot of plates at the same time, and can quickly tell which ones are paper, which ones are plastic, and which ones are porcelain. In other words, someone who has a great feel and sharp sense for what can move quickly, what needs careful handling, and what really cannot afford to drop. If those kinds of challenges sound exciting rather than stressful, I'm pretty sure you'll thrive in this role!” - Message from Dana the Head of Marketing Creation
Your role
Great creative work doesn’t happen just because the idea is good. It needs a clear brief, the right people involved at the right time, realistic planning, actionable feedback, and someone who can keep the work moving with focus and care.
That’s where you come in as our Project manager in the Marketing creation team.
At Fastned, we believe it’s people driving the change to electric, not cars. You’ll see that belief in everything we make, from big campaigns to how-to-charge content. Your job is to help creative work move smoothly from brief to delivery, without losing the Fastned feeling along the way.
As our project manager, you sit between creative ambition and day-to-day delivery. You know what’s live, what’s next, what needs attention, and what can wait.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing creation, designers, copywriters, marketers, campaign managers, third parties, and a multitude of stakeholders across Fastned. You’ll turn requests into clear projects and tasks, keep priorities moving, and make sure feedback lands on time.
This is a role for someone who enjoys having multiple tabs open at once, and still knows exactly where everything is. You create the structure that helps the team make great work without losing the through line.
Key responsibilities
Project management: You plan, track, and deliver multiple creative and marketing projects in parallel, making sure timelines, owners, milestones, and deliverables are clear from the start.
Workflow improvement: You manage how work moves through the team, from incoming requests to final delivery, and help improve the parts of the process that feel clunky, unclear, or slower than they need to be. You’re also curious about smarter ways of working, including practical uses of productivity tools, workspace automations, and AI where they genuinely help the team.
Briefing and prioritisation: You help refine incoming asks into clear briefs, support prioritisation with the Head of Marketing Creation, and know when a project needs deeper creative thinking versus when templates, guidelines, or existing assets are the smarter route.
Resource and traffic management: You keep an eye on team capacity, help allocate work across designers, copywriters, third parties, and partners, and flag pressure points before they become problems.
Stakeholder alignment: You keep internal teams and external partners informed, involved, and aligned on scope, timings, feedback, and expectations, making sure the right people are consulted early and everyone has what they need to deliver their best work.
Brand consistency: You help protect the quality and consistency of our output, making sure the work is aligned with the brief, the brand, and the standard we have set ourselves.
Job requirements
Who we are looking for
You have around 3 - 5 years of experience in project management or production management, ideally within an in-house creative, brand, marketing, or agency environment.
You’re comfortable owning timelines, scope, and priorities across multiple projects, and you know how to keep things moving without losing the details that matter.
You understand creative work well enough to know when something needs time, thought, and care, and when it simply needs to be made, checked, and shipped.
You are organised, practical, and calm under pressure, but not rigid. You bring structure in a way that helps people move, and you know how to adapt when flexibility is needed.
You build trust easily with creatives and stakeholders alike because people know you bring clarity, understanding, and clear expectations.
You are comfortable pushing back when unclear input, late feedback, or shifting expectations start putting timelines at risk. On the flip side, you know when to push the team to deliver when momentum has slowed down.
You care about brand consistency and creative quality, but you also understand that pace matters. Sometimes done is better than perfect.
You enjoy being in the flow of a busy team, and red notification dots don’t faze you because you know exactly where your attention needs to go, and when.
You’re open to new ways of working, including using AI in a meaningful way, and curious enough to test what helps not just your own work, but the work of the wider team.
