Intern – E-Mobility & Project Development (Italy)

Gain working experience in a  fast-growing, listed B-Corp with a purpose! Fastned owns and operates a network of over 400 fast-charging stations across Europe. Our goal is to establish a European network of 1,000 fast-charging stations in prime locations, where all electric vehicles can charge using renewable energy from the sun and wind. Fastned has over 400 employees spread across 10 locations, with our HQ in Amsterdam. At Fastned, you will actively contribute to accelerating the transition to electric mobility. Now our amazing Italian team is looking forward to welcoming their first intern in our beautiful Milan office. 

What are you going to be working on?

• support the team in the project management activities related to construction sites across Italy, by reporting on project progress and managing administrative requests for grid connection and permitting;

• work closely with the team to enable a streamlined and safe construction process, by supporting the procurement activities;

• support the team in the evaluation of commercial opportunities, including  multi-site partnerships, by running economic analyses and business cases for sites, preparing reports and updating the asset management platforms;

• work with the team on tenders: study tender documentation, verify legal, technical and economic requirements for participation, in consultation with the relevant corporate functions; support the team in the preparation of the tender documentation (technical and economic offer), in compliance with the timeframe and requirements.

Who are you?

• You study or have graduated in Engineering, Economics or a similar study course

• You are legally allowed to work in Italy and have a sponsor for your internship (e.g. university, training institution, centro per l'impiego)

• You have a genuine interest in the energy transition and Fastned’s mission

• Your curious mindset helps you to continuously learn, challenge the status quo and make improvements based on your ideas

• Your organizational skills help you to manage various projects efficiently 

• You are interested in working with interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders

• You are not afraid to get your hands on a wide range of activities

• You have good skills in Microsoft Excel / Powerpoint, Google Sheets / Slides

• You are fluent in Italian and English
