At Fastned you will actively contribute to accelerating the transition to electric mobility.We are looking for a Technical Service Coordinator based in our Amsterdam office to join our Field Operations team at Fastned. The Field Operations team is responsible for continuously maintaining our operational charging stations in a perfect state to offer a reliable, safe and customer-friendly charging experience to electric drivers.

Your role

As a Technical Service Coordinator, your key role is to manage and resolve tickets related to our charging infrastructure, including chargers, solar panels, and associated equipment like cameras and routers. These tickets, raised by either our network monitoring team or customers require your expertise from initial assessment to final resolution. You are key in resolving these tickets within the internally agreed timelines, efficiently coordinating remote troubleshooting and providing support to field engineers from all countries during on-site repairs, all to ensure maximum uptime of our chargers. Beyond technical responses, you contribute to enhancing our operational efficiency by identifying process improvements and creating vital technical documentation.

Your overall responsibilities include:

  • Triaging tickets coming in and searching for the fastest and most efficient resolution within our SLA.
  • Prioritizing incoming charger issues and assigning them to internal workforce or external contractors based on your own analysis.
  • Performing remote diagnosis and troubleshooting of most common issues.
  • Proposing a work and route schedule for the Field Engineers.
  • Liaising with chargers manufacturers to solve issues efficiently.
  • Being the expert of the equipment that is placed at our stations (chargers and systems).
  • Configurating, commissioning and calibrating newly installed equipment.
  • Documenting and constantly improving internal processes, work instructions, technical support material etc.
  • Supporting all Field Engineers as first and main point of contact in their onsite interventions.
  • Working closely with the broader operations team to grow our business and overcome challenges.

In this role, you'll report to our central Field Maintenance manager based in Amsterdam.

Who are we looking for?

In order to be successful in this role you must possess a problem solving mindset and a great sense of priorities. You have a service-oriented mentality and you take responsibility for work that needs to be done. Your biggest reward is the feeling of having solved an issue and you work relentlessly until a station is fully operational again. You’re willing to stay flexible in working hours to best accompany our Field Engineers on site.

In addition, you meet the following criteria:

  • You have at least 2-3 years of technical support experience in a similar field of expertise
  • You are analytical and can handle stressful situations
  • You have basic knowledge of electrical installations
  • You know how to work thoroughly with a high attention to details
  • You are tech savvy and possess basic knowledge of connectivity systems
  • You’re a team player and have good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • You are fluent in English; Dutch or any other European language is a plus
  • You have a genuine interest in the energy transition and Fastned’s mission
  • Extra credit if you have knowledge or interest in power electronics
