As we rapidly expand our fast charging network across Europe, the opportunity to attract more electric vehicle drivers grows. To accelerate this growth and strengthen our commercial capabilities, we’re expanding our Growth team with a new position focused on unlocking long-term value through strategic partnerships.
What you’ll do
As Strategic Partnerships Lead, you will drive revenue growth by leading high-impact partnerships, enterprise-level deals, and car manufacturer (OEM) relationships. You’ll focus on large-scale, tailored agreements across Europe while smaller or recurring deals are managed by the Sales team. Reporting to the Growth Director, you will own and expand OEM partnerships and collaborate with peers in the Growth leadership team, including Business Development, Sales; Digital Wayfinding & Navigation, and Fastned MSP to unlock new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the team
Lead the development and execution of Fastned’s Strategic Partnership strategy to contribute to our ambitious revenue and market expansion goals. Identify and pursue new clients and strategic partners, nurture a high-quality pipeline, and define clear growth targets that align with broader company objectives.
Source Partnerships
Own the end-to-end process of identifying, securing, and managing strategic partnerships, particularly with OEMs, infrastructure players, and other key stakeholders. Build long-term, value-driven relationships and act as the primary commercial contact. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales to ensure smooth integration, mutual benefit, and strategic alignment.
Closing the Deal
Lead the full commercial deal lifecycle, from initial lead qualification and value proposition development to negotiation and contract finalisation. Coordinate with legal, finance, and executive stakeholders to ensure deals are commercially sound, aligned with Fastned’s goals, and set up for long-term success.
Grow the Partnerships
Nurture existing partnerships to maximise long-term value. Proactively identify new opportunities for joint initiatives, co-marketing, or expanded collaboration. Act as a strategic advisor to both internal teams and external partners, ensuring each partnership evolves and delivers impact over time.
Communication & Brand Representation
Provide regular, transparent updates to senior leadership and the Board on business development progress, key wins, and forecasted pipeline. Represent Fastned at industry conferences, forums, and partner meetings to actively strengthen our reputation as a leader in the EV charging ecosystem and a top-tier commercial partner.

You’ll bring:
5+ years’ experience in managing partnerships and/or sales deals, either in growth, sales, or business development roles, preferably with management experience in fast-paced environments
MSc, MBA, or equivalent business-related degree preferred
Strong strategic mindset with fluency in analytics and data-driven decision-making; strategy consulting experience is a plus
Proven commercial drive with a track record in designing and closing strategic partnerships
Deep understanding of sales processes, key account management, and go-to-market strategies
Experienced collaborator, working effectively with marketing, product, and executive teams
Exceptional communicator and relationship builder, skilled at influencing diverse stakeholders
Prior experience or network in the EV industry and/or OEMs preferred but not required
Genuine passion for sustainability and the transition to electric mobility
