Your role:
Fastned is not only expanding its fast-charging network — but our retail offering is also growing with it across countries like the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. To support this growth, we’re looking for a hands-on professional to build and streamline the way we run our shops.
In this brand-new role, you’ll act as a strategist, fixer, and process owner in one structure, processes to keep our retail network across Europe running smoothly, safely, and cost-effectively. From negotiating contracts and coordinating maintenance to improving how we track operational costs — your work shapes the quality and consistency of our shops.

What will you do?
The Facility Manager Retail ensures that Fastned's growing network of retail shops across Europe operates efficiently, safely, and in line with our brand and quality standards. This role sits at the intersection of facility management, procurement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Your responsibilities:
Develop and manage maintenance strategies that we can role out for current & future l retail locations across Europe, including preventive and corrective actions.
Lead end-to-end procurement processes for store equipment, furnishings, and services — from supplier selection to contract negotiation and delivery coordination.
Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, quality control, and timely resolution of issues.
Optimize OPEX and maintenance costs without compromising quality, safety, or customer experience.
Act as the key link between Retail, Field Operations, and Network Operations — aligning workflows and responsibilities across teams.
Collaborate closely with Retail Area Managers, supporting them with clear processes for requests, escalations, and operational follow-up.
Monitor maintenance and facility performance through reporting and data analysis, translating insights into actionable improvements.
Job requirements
What do you bring?
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in retail, facility management, or operations.
Experience in contract management, supplier coordination, and cost optimization.
Strong analytical and process-oriented skills.
Experience in setting up new processes in a fast-growing organization.
Strong communicator, able to switch between different disciplines and levels.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Experience in an international environment is a plus.
