What sets us apart is our focus on reliability, sustainability and clean energy. We have been awarded “Best Charging Network” in the UK, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands, further establishing Fastned as a leading player in the field. About the role:
We’re now looking for a talented Health & Safety Manager to help us scale safely and smartly in the UK. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing team and play a key role in shaping how health and safety is done – not as a box-ticking exercise, but as an enabler of better health and safety and business outcomes.
You’ll be joining our international H&S team and working closely with design, construction, operations, and asset management teams in the UK. For the right candidate, this is a unique opportunity to create something meaningful and make a genuine impact in an organisation that values health and safety.
What you’ll be doing:
Act as a key H&S representative across Fastned’s UK construction, operations, and asset management activities.
Lead on stakeholder engagement – from on site contractors to exec level stakeholders building strong relationships and driving positive behaviours.
Conduct site inspections and support design reviews, pre-construction processes, and CDM compliance.
Contribute to the design and implementation of a practical, scalable Health and Safety Management System for the UK business.
Monitor H&S performance, share insights, lead toolbox talks, and contribute to training and awareness.
Play a hands-on role in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Provide clear and confident advice in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
Keep up to date with UK H&S legislation and ensure ongoing legal compliance across all construction and operational activities.
