Your role

As Head of Denmark, you will be responsible for leading Fastned’s growth and operations in Denmark. Reporting to the COO, you will shape and execute the local strategy, ensure operational excellence, and represent Fastned externally. This is a pivotal leadership role, offering the opportunity to drive the expansion of Fastned’s network and brand in Denmark. You will have significant autonomy and visibility, making this an ideal position for an experienced leader with a track record of delivering results in a dynamic, international environment.

Your responsibilities include

• Develop and execute Fastned’s strategy for Denmark, ensuring alignment with the European vision and adapting to local market needs.

• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives to strengthen Fastned’s market position.

• Act as Fastned’s local ambassador, representing the company with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and media.

• Oversee the full process of network expansion and ensure high standards of station performance, customer experience, and operational reliability.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with public authorities, suppliers, and key partners, while leading public advocacy for EV infrastructure.

• Lead, build, and develop a high-performing local team, ensuring effective communication and alignment with central/global functions.

• Take ownership of the Danish P&L, balancing revenue growth with cost efficiency, and implement local pricing and business strategies.

• Collaborate with commercial teams to drive customer acquisition, brand visibility, and local marketing initiatives.

Who we are looking for

• 5-7+ years experience in operations, business development, or general management, preferably in a fast-paced, international or scale-up environment.

• Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects or business units.

• Experience working with external stakeholders such as government, landlords, and partners.

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and financial performance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Danish and English required.

• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills and a passion for sustainability and innovation.
