Funding & Investor Relations Analyst

As a Funding & Investor Relations Analyst your prime responsibility will be to support the F&IR team in raising funding necessary for Fastned to finance its ambitious growth trajectory. You do this hand-in-hand with the rest of the team and CFO, with your analysis and collaboration being key to decision making for funding. 

Over the last few years, Fastned’s funding team realised a 150 million euro accelerated bookbuild, a 50 million euro partnership with French government bank CDC, a 75 million euro equity private placement with Schroders’ infrastructure fund and continues to run a highly successful retail bond program.

About the role

You will work as part of a small, social and collaborative team, where everyone supports each other and enjoys working across multiple projects.

The department is set up to work closely with the Funding & Investor Relations team head and CFO, with significant exposure to the management board and collaboration across finance domains such as financial control, business control, risk & audit, and treasury.

Key responsibilities of this role will be: 

• Analysing, organising and presenting data, including financial modelling;

• Preparing presentation materials for current & potential investors, internal stakeholders, equity research analysts and the public equity market; 

• You will help present key topics and analyses which support our story and the story of fast charging, and regularly participate in meetings with external parties;  

• Participating and contributing to discussions with the management board on matters relating to investor relations; 

• Supporting the execution of funding projects, working closely with the team to help deliver on Fastned’s ambitious funding goals;

As Fastned is a fast growing company and still has a relatively small funding & investor relationship team, we offer you the unique opportunity to take broad ownership and, over time, have the chance to further develop the role into directions that match your ambitions. The funding & investor relations team currently comprises one retail and one institutional manager. You will be directly reporting to the F&IR institutional manager and the F&IR Head in parallel. 

Your profile:

In order to be successful in this role you bring a strong analytical skillset and attention to detail, while being able to proactively find solutions. You have an entrepreneurial hands-on mentality, combined with an innovative and analytical mindset. You think like a founder and surprise us with canny solutions.

Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

• Experience in corporate finance, banking, management consulting, or related internships.

• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and presentation skills (Excel and PowerPoint/Google Slides expertise required).

• Experience with funding documentation is a plus.

• Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented approach to work.

• Effective communicator and collaborative team player.

• Professional proficiency in English (Dutch, German, or French is a plus); experience with EV charging is an advantage.
