Your role

As Country Director for Fastned France, you will play a pivotal leadership role, setting strategic direction, driving innovation, and delivering sustainable, customer-focused growth. You will shape the future of electric mobility in France by achieving ambitious targets for network expansion and revenue, positioning Fastned at the forefront of the industry.

The Country Director is Fastned’s local leader and public face, responsible for representing the company with government, industry, and media, and for shaping and executing a market strategy aligned with Fastned’s vision. This role drives advocacy, builds key partnerships, and ensures compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing an innovative, market-specific strategy for growth and operational excellence.

  • Fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Managing the end-to-end pipeline for new station locations and ensuring high-quality, reliable customer experiences.

  • Taking full P&L ownership, driving revenue growth, and ensuring financial sustainability through new opportunities and strategic partnerships.

  • Leading and developing a high-performing team, ensuring strong alignment with Fastned’s global values and goals.

  • In-depth understanding of local market dynamics, regulatory environment, and the ability to spot and act on new opportunities.

  • Passion for sustainability, innovation, and the transition to electric mobility.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Fluency in French and English.
