As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks for several entities. With your experience and knowledge of processes and accounting systems, you are a great asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase invoice processing, reviewing open purchase orders and communicating potential accounting and payment issues with relevant departments such as Construction Management, Operations, IT, etc or suppliers;

• Daily processing bank statement and monthly reviewing of accounts payable aging;

• Maintaining vendor master data;

• Maintaining organized records of other financial date such as sale invoices, accounts receivable 

• Assisting in process improvements and implementations;

• Supporting the senior accountants with the monthly closing, VAT statements and the preparation of the necessary documents for the annual audit.

• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job requirements

You are someone who takes the initiative and takes responsibility for the tasks assigned to you. A keen eye for detail and critical thinking will help you keep our financial records up to date and accurate. You should also meet the following criteria:

• Approximately 0 to 3 years of relevant accounts payable experience;

• Successfully completed training in accounting or a related field;

• English; another European language would be an advantage;

• Proactive, problem-solving and a team player;

• Stakeholder management and multitasking skills;

• Passion for contributing to a greener future.
