Project Manager E-Mobility Belgium

What you will contribute

Fastned is expanding its network of fast charging stations in Belgium and is looking to strengthen the local team with a Project Manager to support our teams with tasks related to realising the construction of all upcoming stations. Our office conveniently located at the Martelaarslaan in Ghent. This is the perfect opportunity to kickstart you career or for people who bring along a few years of relevant experience. 

As the Project Manager, you will be an integral part of an experienced and international team and you will deal with all aspects of delivering high quality charging stations across Belgium. In this role, you are working in close cooperation with the architect, the construction manager and the network development manager.

The responsibilities include the acquisition of building permits, the realisation of grid connections, as well as the material supply and planning for the construction. You will monitor the schedules and budgets and coordinate with numerous external stakeholders from Belgium and abroad. This role will regularly take you to visit business partners or construction sites, where you will be able to demonstrate negotiation skills, a hands-on mentality, high quality standards and an eye for details.

Electric mobility is new territory for you? No problem! As part of your onboarding, you will participate in a series of exciting workshops where you will learn everything important about electric mobility and fast charging infrastructure. You are a real team player and you have the ability to think on your own feet - you feel comfortable taking initiative and responsibility. You are not afraid to make mistakes and you are always keen to keep on learning. “Think like a founder” is something you identify easily with. Additionally, you tick the following boxes:

• You just finished your studies or bring along some years of relevant experience;

• You have a degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or business;

• You know how to work structured and how to prioritise your tasks efficiently;

• Your communication skills are part of your strengths;

• You speak fluent Dutch and French language + business level in English;

• You have a driving license;

•  you are genuinely interested in the energy transition, construction and Fastned’s mission!
